PICE (Singapore)

Guided by the goals of the Institute

 

The primary objectives of PICE (SINGAPORE) are:

• Collaboration with Singapore Engineering Societies – to establish linkage and collaboration with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and other professional organizations on areas of professional development and recognition of members.

• Professional Advancement – to assist members on their application as PICE Specialist and assistance to registration in international cross border practice such as ASEAN and APEC Engineer.

• Continuing Education, Seminars and Field Trips – to expose the members to current trends, events and places that are relevant to their professional development.

• Leadership& Work Ethics Seminars – these seminars aims to develop the members’ skills not only the technical aspects but also more importantly the professional values. The group shall conduct series of lectures that shall focus more on leadership and work attitude.

• Annual Dinner & Gatherings – to accommodate events such as official visits from the National Officers, Christmas Party, Barbecue Party & General Assembly.

• Sports Development – to implement Annual Sportsfest among the members, promoting physical fitness and camaraderie.

• Newsletter& Publications – to create publication materials such as annual reports; newsletters & directory that promote recognition to the members of the group.

• Board Examinations – to collaborate with the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), in the execution a Civil Engineering Board Examinations here in Singapore.

• Renewal of PRC License - to assist members in the renewal of their PRC license and other concerns relating to the Institute.
